Once a rare sighting found in tucked away and dusty health food shops, the Komucha market has boomed in recent years... Known for its probiotic qualities, this bubbly treat makes a healthy swap from sugary sodas.

Equinox Kombucha is one of the easier brands to find, Waitrose even stocks it! We thought we would give the flavours a try and rate them out of 5...

Ginger:

This one is a winner if you love a ginger beer. Not too sweet, bubbly and with a spicy kick to finish. 3.5/5

Raspberry & Elderflower:

A personal favourite, reminiscent of a pink gin and elderflower tonic but with a sweeter edge. 4.5/5

Pink Grapefruit & Guava:

This one tastes like a sour sweetie, yum. 4/5

Wild berry:

Ending on a low note, this one was the worst of a good bunch. Lacking a certain 'je ne sais quoi' (five more teaspoons of sugar). 2.5/5
